Rural Reels

Rural Reels is a partnership of nine village halls in the Malvern Hills District Council area who aim to bring the cinema experience to local villages and communities. The partnership was formed after a successful trial overseen by Arts Alive under the Flicks in the Sticks programme. Clifton upon Teme is part of this partnership.

Clifton upon Teme share a set of mobile equipment with Hanley Broadheath and Eastham, but we have our own fixed screen.

Films shown at Clifton upon Teme Village Hall are on the 2nd Saturday of each month between September – June (except December). We aim to make a big occasion of the last film night of the season. See the Future Programme link for our upcoming programme.

Clifton Hall Investment Club (CHIC) is an important fundraiser for Clifton upon Teme Village Hall, to help with ongoing building maintenance costs and also providing a prize draw for members. In return for an annual subscription of just £12, members are entered into a monthly draw with 3 prizes of £30, £20 and £10.

Your membership fee is collected each February. New members numbers will be entered in the draw for the month in which they join. Members joining part way through the year will join for the remaining months of that calender year and pay the fee of £1 for each remaining month.

The total number of members, the prizes paid out and the names of the winners will be displayed in the Clifton upon Teme shop as soon as possible after each draw.
